This episode traces his path from Rio de Janeiro to Pampulha, where his signature curves first take shape, and on to the Copan in São Paulo. It’s the beginning of a vision that will later redefine how people live together.
Episode 2: A new Brazil
The Copan building — once a vision of social living, today a lived reality. Through the voices of two generations, we see what remains of that idea. From there, the story moves to Brasília — Niemeyer’s greatest project — and to the political tensions that would ultimately lead to the military coup.
Episode 3: Exile & later years
From Berlin to Paris, from Algeria to his iconic museum in Niterói — Niemeyer’s work continues across continents, often ahead of its time. In the end, we return to Brasília. A city shaped by a dream — imperfect, but still offering a better life for those who live it today.
